Rotary's Youth Exchange Program

Our Club has sponsored an outbound Youth Exchange Participant -- Marco from Lighthouse Point.  Marco was introduced to our Club on March 12th.  Jennifer Jones serves as our Club's Youth Exchange Officer, works as a liaison with the District's Youth Exchange Committee, and helps Marco whenever he needs it.  Thanks Jennifer for doing such a great job!

Last Year's Wheelchair Project

As most of you will recall, last year our Club, in association with the La Puntilla Club in Ecuador, donated an entire container of wheelchairs to needy people in Ecuador.  While visiting our Club in December 2003, the President of La Puntilla Club brought pictures with him.  Here they are:

Bahamian Mobile Library -- Assistant Governor Dudley Powell from Freeport (in our District) made an urgent call for help in putting together a mobile library. We, specifically Ben Protano, answered the call!  Ben has enlisted the help of Robert Foltz, who's providing some design expertise for the project.  Way to go guys!  Keep us posted.
